Lifeboat Boston Community Market is a food pantry that provides fresh, nutritious food to anyone experiencing food insecurity.
We pride ourselves in creating a lovingly diverse culture of community through a consistent demonstration of compassion. It is not solely in the vital services we provide, but in the value we place upon each individual who enters our doors. We are so glad you found us!
Lifeboat has consistently operated, weekly, since 2017, meeting the needs of more than 1,000 food insecure families. We have distributed more than 400,000 pounds of food since inception, allowing us to currently serve approximately 250 families each week.
With the cost of living increasing in the Boston area at a rapid rate, many families are struggling to meet their most basic needs. We have been fortunate to be able to expand our services to twice weekly, providing a variety of foods that enable families to produce meals that are wholesome and nutritious.
We are very grateful for the Lifeboat Food Pantry feeding us during COVID-19 times. We have recently experienced increased food insecurity. Lifeboat truly lives up to its name.
